Hey! I'm Chris Spealler, founder and owner of Park City Fit.
And I'm here to welcome you to a place where fitness and adventure meet.
The world and our bodies have one magical thing in common: They’re built for adventure. It’s our duty to bring more people into the fold, and empower them to live a life of adventure. Whether you need more fitness or a broader perspective, we‘re here to serve in the service of the fitness and adventure.
We believe that fitness is the ultimate life-enhancer. In our eyes, it's an absolute necessity. Your potential for experience, life, and adventure goes through the roof when you get fit.
Our mission and vision:
We want to make a difference. Through real engagement with people. Valuable, concrete, sustainable, life changing habits and experiences, with a group mindset that all are welcome. The vehicle is fitness, education, and how to take care of ourselves outside of the gym as a whole person. The community is welcoming, the trainers are guides. We are a family. We strive to educate ourselves and push the boundaries of the norm so we can best serve our members, unafraid if it doesn’t conform to the masses. To achieve this we offer custom approaches to anyone that is willing to engage, while not limiting those that are not. We have well balanced programming to the group and customized experiences for the individual that focus on fitness, performance, longevity, and life experience.
How do I sign up for a free no sweat intro?
Schedule your free trial with us by filling out the contact form with all of your details, and we will contact you to schedule your free sweat intro.
How long does it take to see results?
Results take time, but if you’re consistent, they will come. If you are a beginner, results will come fairly quickly; even in only 30 days, you may start to see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
We love being in a group, but that doesn't mean we should all have the same approach to workouts. We offer 3 variations of the daily workout so you can find what the best fit is for your goals, or simply just how you feel for the day. We have a team of professional coaches that help you find the best movement patterns and approaches to workouts to meet your specific goals. Much of this is taught in the first week you are with us in intro sessions. Additionally we offer a variety of ways for you to train with us ranging from group classes all the way to fully customized programs to help maximize your health, performance, and longevity.
How often do you recommend coming to work out?
Good question, and this will vary for each person depending on your previous training experience, goals, and all the other fun things Park City has to offer! In general, to get the most of your training we suggest at least 3-4 days/week.
Any other perks I should know about?
Some other things you may find helpful... we offer open gym hours where members can access the gym in "off hours" via their phone, both mens, womens, and family locker rooms with showers, a "recovery room" with normatec boots, massage guns, and stim free to use for all members, and we sure do like to have fun getting outside for workouts on occasion.
Do I need a certain level of fitness to join?
Nope! That's why we are here and what we do. Part of our approach is learning about you through both conversation and some insightful assessments when you start. This helps us provide you with education on how to best approach workouts and what you can expect of yourself and your training.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take all major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.
What kind of exercises can I expect during a workout?
We love variety which means we are often changing things up. However, each class has a coach-led warm up, instruction of movements, guidance during the workout, and accessory work to wrap things up to help you get the most out of the hour. Throughout the week you will see a variety of bodyweight, weightlifting, and traditional conditioning movements.
Do you offer nutrition advice?
While we are not registered dieticians there are some simple and highly effective approaches to nutrition that can make a huge impact on your health, longevity, and performance. We are happy to share these with you and ultimately anything you are doing needs to be sustainable in order for it to be effective. We are always happy to help with advice when there is interest.
